The products have been used in the painting of aquariums housing topical fish as well as ponds housing Koi fish with no effects at all.

ROOF AND POND SEALER

Roof & Pond Sealer is a water-based, fire retardant, waterproofing and an elastomeric sealant. This product is ready for application and is used to line electric cables and water pipes. It is also used to fill and seal cracks and joints in both metal and concrete surfaces, which ultimately prevents water penetration.

When the product is cured, it forms a tough, highly durable, flexible seal that has ultimate protection properties and can tolerate thermal, shrinkage movements. A satin finish is available in white, standard colours and tintable pastel base colours. The standard colours that are available are Charcoal, Medium Grey, Light Grey, Modern Red, Modern Brown, Terracotta, Black, Green, and White.

Principal characteristics:

  • The product has fast drying, excellent water resistance properties and excellent movement tolerance.
  • Cures to form an elastic seal and is excellent for sealing cracks and joints.
  • Stain, impact, and fire resistant.

Intended use:

GREENCOAT Roof & Pond Sealer has sealing and adhesive properties. The product can be applied over concrete, metal, wood etc. The ideal area for application is ponds, metal roofs, parapets, dam, gutters, down pipes, concrete roofs, pre-cast panel walls, glazing etc.

Cleaning:

Clean all tools (brushes and rollers) while wet with water after use.

HOW TO DO A WATERPROOFING APPLICATION ON AN ASBESTOS ROOF

GREENCOAT RoofRubber is a modified flexible acrylic emulsion with a slight sheen for waterproofing of roofs, parapets and wall surfaces.

Step 1:

Wash the roof with Greencoat Prep and brush off the Asbestos residue.

Step 2:

Wash the roof with Greencoat Greenwash to neutralise the roof.

Step 3:

Get an Asbestos contractor that is registered with the Government Chief inspectors to remove the asbestos residue.

Step 4:

Prime the roof with Greencoat Bind.

Step 5:

Apply two coats of Greencoat Roofrubber.

HOW TO WATERPROOF YOUR ROOF WITH ROOFRUBBER.

Correct surface preparation is essential for good product performance and all surfaces should be prepared as per the standard GREENCOAT Preparation Specifications.

Do not apply when ambient temperatures are below 4°C  and above 40°C.

  1. Step 1 –Wash your roof thoroughly with Greencoat Greenwash Cleaner
  2. Step 2 – If you have a Tile/Concrete roof you will then apply our Greencoat Bind Primer. If you have a Corrugated/Galvanised roof you will then apply our Greencoat Metaltreat Primer. You can soak your membrane in the Roofrubber if you have a need to apply membrane where there is open areas.
  3. Step 3 – Apply 2 coats of the Roof Rubber.

Greencoat Roofrubber is available in our standard colours:  Charcoal, Medium Grey, Light Grey, Modern Red, Modern Brown, Black, Green and White.
